I am celebrating my 60th birthday this month and I wanted to share this personal word to all our KT family and friends. Early in 1972, seated at the back of the ground floor in our church building, I heard God ask me to serve him full time in church work. Little did I know back then that I would end up as senior leader of the church where I was a regular worshipper and member. First there came a time of training under the leadership of Pastor Eldin Corsie, then I spent four years learning the ropes in a small church in the South of England and finally, in 1985, I was called back to KT to serve under Wynne Lewis who so recently went to be with the Lord.

Colin DyeSince 1991 I have sought to lead the church into all that God has for us prophetically and apostolically. I have endeavoured also to provide through our leadership team and the cell structure the kind of care, discipline and nurture so that every KT person can enjoy the full life of the Spirit and grow in conformity with Christ.

I have one overriding emotion at this time ? gratitude. I am grateful to God for ever dreaming that I could be an effective minister of the gospel, despite my faults and weaknesses. I am deeply appreciative of my wife and family who have been there in good times and bad. I am thankful for our Elim denomination of which we are a part and for my role on its National Leadership Team. I am also thankful for my fellow workers who over the years have been faithful in God?s work alongside Amanda and me. Finally, I am overwhelmed with gratitude to the generations of KT people who have been enthusiastic adopters and trustworthy supporters of the vision and message I have held before them year by year.

Thank you, one and all, your servant for Christ?s sake,

Colin Dye
