Every serious church leader asks, ?How can I raise a generation of believers so passionate about Christ that they are prepared to lose everything in order to gain him?? The answer is of course that we cannot do this, but the Holy Spirit can. When people receive a deep revelation of Jesus they will follow him anywhere. Without such a vision, people will never rise to the challenge. Put another way, this means we must learn to serve God by grace and not by our own efforts.
The cell ministry is at the heart of everything we do at Kensington Temple. It is how we connect with one another, build community and reach out to others. It is how we equip you for life outside the services and enable you to take up your call as a disciple of Christ where God has placed you. I express it succinctly like this, ?Your occupation is your location for your true vocation.?
You are called to enjoy God?s grace and share it with others in your place of work, your family, your community, your college, and so on. It?s a life style and not a church programme. Here at Kensington Temple we want to see church members become so passionate about Christ that they take up every opportunity we have devised for them to train, to grow and to serve Christ.
Serving God is an honour and a privilege that can only be enjoyed by true lovers of God. The rest is dead, dull, legalistic religion. Rightly understood, grace never produces lazy, fleshly Christians but workers, sold out for Jesus. Grace trains us and shapes our lives to be like Christ.

Grace sets us free from sin?s power and directs us towards God?s holy glory. This is the motivation leaders must inspire in their members. Good workers for the kingdom of God are workers permanently infatuated by Christ. That?s why pressure tactics, guilt trips, blame games and naming and shaming people, never work in ministry. Manipulating people by these means cannot produce the kind of willing response that God requires of his people.
Once you see him and taste his goodness and kindness, your heart is his forever. There is nothing too big or too small he could ever ask you to do that will meet with reluctance on your part. Your greatest joy and pleasure is in pleasing him. These are the amazing effects of grace and the cell vision is nothing without them. Once deeply experienced, grace produces willing and passionate people who love the cell vision because it gives them the opportunity to be effective workers for Christ.
